Don't call it a comeback!
Ahh,it feels good to be home. As you all know I haven't posted in awhile and I gave up my fashion dreams for a bit. I wanted to explore different avenues like college lol. But really,I feel I should start blogging again. I miss the amazing people I've met through this blog. I miss talking to the many people that visited my site and commented every day. I feel like I've let some of you down. I hope you guys are still in the fashion blogosphere. I hope to hear from all you. I hope you guys welcome me back with open arms. I can't wait to share many many many fashion posts and a piece of me with you once again.
Love,
S
p.s-This blog is going to get an awesome makeover. Bear with me :-)

Invest in Fashionable Denim!
"Hello Inside the Fashion readers! Let me formally introduce myself before we embark on this guest blogging ride! My name is Alessia and I am a 19 year old journalism student in Montreal! When I'm not dreaming about fashion and fervently writing news articles, I am blogging for Luello.com! I think this is the beginning of a wonderful
friendship."
Givenchy dresses. Alexander Wang purses. YSL accessories.
There seem to be an endless amount of items that a typical, fashion-conscious girl finds herself coveting.
Nicholas Kirkwood stilettos. Hermes Birkin Bag. Alexander McQueen everything.
As far as (mostly) unattainable items on your ultimate wish-list are concerned, most fashionable women know exactly what they want. However, lots of women spend so much time formulating their imaginary styles (the ones they would have if they had limitless funds) that their real-world styles fall by the wayside.
Even though casual-wear can sometime seem less glamorous than the latest looks from Paris Haute Couture week, it’s nevertheless equally important to put as much thought and effort into your every-day wardrobe.
The ultimate item that straddles the line between luxury and informality? Denim, of course.
J Brand 901 Olympia
Quality denim never goes out of style. Like a family heirloom, your most beloved pair of jeans has a history. Your clothes become your companions through life. When people come and go they remain either firmly adorning your body or sitting in your closet, waiting for you to choose them again.

When you buy a Chanel quilted bag, you are buying both a style statement, and quality assurance. The same goes for a good pair of jeans. Invest in reputable, high quality brands like William Rast and J Brand to ensure that you won’t find yourself shopping for denim again in a month’s time.
Tempted by the appeal of discount prices, many people let the style and quality of their casual clothes sit on the back burner as they save all their pennies for the designer goods. However, we forget the reason why brands like William Rast and Rock Revival are on the higher end of price points for denim: because these are jeans that will serve you well for years. Don’t cut corners when it comes to your jeans. Your denim is worth it- just as much as your designer shoes are.
You can find these denim brands at www.luello.com along with many many others! Happy shopping! XO

Personal Microderm review
Remember I told you gorgeous folks about the Personal Microderm? Well I got mine and it's truly a revolutionary product. Honestly upon receiving it I was kind of bummed because it seemed to be a product marketed towards an ahem, older crowd. I'm 19 and thought I had pretty decent skin. Come to find out it can be even better thanks to PMD! PMD scrubbed away all of my dead skin cells. We all have them don't EW me:p
Under those dead cells were glowing & radiant skin! No worries-there's zero pain. In fact,it was very soothing. Skin care doesn't have to be a task but a fun regimen. I will admit it's a bit much to assemble the PMD. It has a million pieces and wires. I wish there was an easier guide to follow or it was pre-assembled.Also the packaging wasn't the spiffiest thing in the world.
Honestly,if I was scouring the net for great skincare products;I wouldn't check this out.Again,t would even MORE beneficial to an older crowd. But,I'm very glad I was selected to try this product. It clear blemishes and even out the skin tone.Overall,I'm very happy I have it in collection. I highly recommend it! There's a lot of imitators out there but PMD is one of the best.

TREND REPORT ** SPRING WRAP-UP
Leopard Bags
I love this trend. I'm not a huge fan of patten hence why all of bags are solid-colored. But I really want a leopard bag particularly like this one or a funky Betsey Johnshon one.
60S coats
I find this trend extremely romantic and classy. Think playful spring colors: pinks, yellows and light blues!
Military vests & jackets
Sure, you're too delicate for the army but a military vest is the next best FASHIONABLE thing.
Color blocking
You may or may not know but I'm not a huge fan of a lot of colors. Sure ,I have my Katy Perry days but 8/10 times-I'm in cool or pastel colors. But I'll give this look a try this summer :) I'll try anything once...
Platform heels
*swooooon*
Trench dresses
Love this! This is a statement piece. Don't overkill with leggings or jewelry!!!
Preppy Prep
Let's all pretend we're rich, beautiful and have lots of drama. Some of you may already be these things... Bring out the blazers, riding boots and pastel cardigans!
Big Bangles &
Lucite jewelry
Citrus colors
Instead of looking like an orange (*cough* Snooki) wear orange instead. What a fun way to bring the summer in...
Blue nail polish
LOVE,LOVE,LOVE. I'm rocking this color right now
xoxo

How cool is this?
I've been selected out of hundreds...maybe thousands:p to review a product called the "Personal Microderm". This product really is one of the best beauty tools around. What the Personal Microderm does for your skin is miraculous. It revitalizes and cleanses the skin. I'm OH so very excited. Apparently I'll receive my Microderm in a week or two. Gotta love Apothica & The Fringe Network!
I'm very much alive
So sorry for the lack of updates.I've been super duper busy...transferring to a different college in the fall& doing my very best to pass my current courses. I CAN'T WAIT TO MOVE OUT. Knock on wood & pray for me!
XOXO

Expiration dates for YOUR beauty essentials
*Anti-aging and acne treatments: Three months to a year. Antioxidants are easily oxidized, so be on the lookout for any changes in color.
*Body lotion: Two to three years, particularly if it’s in a pump container.
* Shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel: About three years.
* Bath oil: One year.
* Sunscreen: Check the package for an expiration date.
* Mascara and liquid eyeliner: Three to four months. Make sure you’re diligent about replacing these items to prevent contamination and infections.
*Eyeshadow: Up to three years.
*Concealer:Up to 12 months
*Make-up brushes: Wash every 2-3 months in a mild detergent.
* Eye and lip pencils: Three to five years. Sharpen them before each use as a way to preserve them and keep them clean.
* Lipstick and lip gloss: Two to three years.
* Foundation: About two years. Most bottles are designed to last that long. And if you don’t use it, chances are you didn’t love it to begin with.
* Perfume: About two years. To get more mileage out of a perfume, resist the temptation to display a pretty bottle on your vanity. Instead, stash it away in a cool, dark place.
* Nail polish: One year.
* Hairstyling products: Three to five years. Most are alcohol-based, which helps preserve the formula.
* Bar soap: Up to three years.
* Shaving cream: About two years.
* Deodorant: Up to two years.
